Hello, I’m Maria, a conversational coach, software engineer and tech business owner based in Hamburg..

I grew up speaking English from the age of four and later spent over 10 years in international business environments. I've pitched to investors, negotiated contracts, spoken on panels and at conferences, lectured in university classes, and led teams in English.

I'm a polyglot: I speak three languages and I'm learning my fourth, which is German. I know that fluency under pressure isn't built through studying grammar alone; it's strengthened through repetition, in context, out loud.

My coaching is built on one core belief: you get better at speaking English by speaking it, in realistic situations, with someone who can correct and guide you in the moment.

My sessions are conversation-first. We talk, we role-play, we rehearse, and as a result you leave every session having spoken more and practised exactly the kind of exchange you'll need in real professional life.
